The final weekend of the 2015 Season was extra special for the Warriors as they retained their Aberaeron 7s title for the 7th time in nine years. It was also to be the final tournament for three long serving stalwarts. Arwel Davies the founder of Wales' premier invitation 7's team back in the year 2000, has seen the Warriors develop into a well known elite team which is regarded by many as one of the most competitive teams on the UK circuit. Davies along with Wayne Price who made his debut 13 years ago whilst playing for Llandovery RFC and Gareth 'Jamo' James who made his debut 7 years ago whilst with Neath RFC will hang up their boots after the tournament.
To give these boys recognition for their service, the Warriors entered two teams, one filled with younger talent and a legends team of experienced campaigners that have proudly worn the Warriors jersey at some point over the past 10 years. Gareth James said 'I am honored that so many fantastic and recognisable players decided to come together for our last tournament before we join them in the vets rugby!' . Price shared his sentiments and added 'The Warriors have played an integral part in my summers, we're a rugby family and to go out this way is exciting'.
The youngsters were hot favorites and duly justified that by sweeping all aside to take the Cup home to Carmarthen for the 7th time #EquippedToConquer
